Job Description

The Straight Bevel Gear Generator Set-Up Operator is responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of equipment used for producing straight bevel gears. This role requires attention to detail and expertise in gear cutting and machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate straight bevel gear generators.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Adjust machine settings to produce various gear specifications.
• Collaborate with quality control inspectors to enhance production processes.
• Document production activities accurately and efficiently.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in CNC machinery is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in machining and manufacturing

Technical Skills

• CNC machining
• Quality assurance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt: Certification in Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with quality assurance: Knowledge of ISO quality standards and certification processes.
