Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our Edinburgh clinic. You will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to a variety of pets, including routine examinations, diagnostic testing, and surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and a genuine love for animals, ensuring their well-being and comfort during treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate animal conditions and decide on appropriate diagnostic tests.
  • Implement treatment plans tailored to individual needs and conditions.
  • Conduct post-operative evaluations and follow-ups.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to support staff on best practices.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote animal welfare.
  • Actively contribute to a supportive and positive clinic culture.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • RCVS membership preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical experience post-graduation
