Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Advisor to join our Wakefield office. The successful candidate will offer expert tax advice, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation. Responsibilities

• Review tax returns for accuracy before submission.
• Assist clients with tax audits and enquiries from HMRC.
• Develop strong client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with other professionals, including accountants and financial advisers.
• Prepare presentations and reports on tax planning strategies for clients.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss tax trends and updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field
• Master's degree in Taxation or relevant professional qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5 years of experience in a tax advisory role or similar

Technical Skills

• VAT Regulations
• Corporate Tax

• Interpersonal Skills
• Time Management

Certifications

• Taxation Certification
• ACCA or ACA membership

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of tax planning for businesses in different sectors: Expertise in advising various business sizes on tax strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis: Advanced skills in Excel for creating financial models and reports.
