Job Description

As a Yachtsman with Marine Adventures Ltd., you will be responsible for the navigation and management of luxury yachts while ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew. This role requires strong sailing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and navigate the yacht in accordance with maritime laws and standards.
• Lead crew training sessions and ensure all crew members are fully briefed on safety protocols.
• Perform preventative maintenance on yacht systems and machinery.
• Design itineraries that prioritise safety and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor weather conditions and adapt plans as necessary for safe sailing.
• Engage with guests to ensure a remarkable experience on board.
• Keep precise records of all voyages and operational checks.
• Supervise the management of onboard supplies and equipment.
• Enforce safety measures and conduct regular safety audits.
• Create a welcoming environment for all passengers and ensure their needs are met.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Yachtmaster Certification
• Eng1 Medical Certificate

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in yacht operations, especially in a leadership role.

• RYA (Royal Yachting Association) Certification
