Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Psychologist to join our dedicated team in Edinburgh. You will work closely with clients to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic support. Your role will be crucial in promoting mental wellness and helping clients navigate their psychological challenges.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' psychological health through various assessment tools.
• Create and adjust treatment plans based on clients' progress.
• Facilitate workshops on mental health awareness for the community.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and seminars.
• Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to support client needs.
• Assist with research and contribute to academic publications.
• Mentor junior psychologists and students.
• Implement evidence-based practices in therapy.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
• Registered psychologist with relevant certification

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working in mental health services

Technical Skills

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Crisis Intervention

• Familiarity with teletherapy practices: Experience in providing psychological services via telehealth platforms.
