Forensic Science Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Forensic Science Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for examining and analysing digital evidence to support investigations related to cybercrime and fraud. This role requires a meticulous approach to data handling and an in-depth understanding of forensic methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic analysis of digital devices and data to support cybercrime investigations.
• Document all steps taken during analysis for future reference.
• Stay updated on the latest forensic tools and software.
• Assist in training junior team members on forensic procedures.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss case progress and strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Digital Forensics, or a related field
• Certifications in digital forensics (e.g., EnCE, CFCE) are highly desirable

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital forensics, preferably in a law enforcement or corporate security environment
