Job Description

We are seeking an Academic Researcher to join our Edinburgh team. The ideal candidate will engage in research projects across various disciplines, contribute to the academic community, and publish impactful findings.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of academic research projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to enhance research impact.
  • Write research proposals and conduct competitive grant applications.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards in research practices.
  • Assist with the publication process, including writing and editing manuscripts.
  • Participate in national and international research conferences.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the research team.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Social Sciences or related discipline
  • Relevant specialisation in qualitative research is desirable
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in the research field with a strong publication record
