Job Description

As a Claims Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of the claims department, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of insurance claims. You will lead a dedicated team of claims handlers, providing guidance and support while handling escalated customer issues. This role requires collaboration with various departments to implement effective strategies that enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the claims department, comparing team performance against departmental goals.
  • Ensure all claims processing activities comply with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Provide coaching and support to claims handlers to develop their skills.
  • Regularly engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on claims processes.
  • Conduct training sessions on new policies and procedures.
  • Assess workload and adjust staffing or resources accordingly.
  • Implement technology solutions to streamline the claims process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
