Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance our supply chain operations in Portsmouth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire supply chain process from procurement to distribution. You will work closely with various departments to ensure operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement processes and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Implement cost-saving measures and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Analyse supply chain data and provide insights for decision-making.
• Ensure the timely distribution of products to meet customer demand.
• Manage and resolve supply chain issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with IT to leverage technology for supply chain optimisation.
• Participate in developing annual budgets for the supply chain department.
• Implement best practices in logistics and inventory management.
• Prepare reports for senior management on supply chain performance.
• Conduct audits of supply chain processes to ensure compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
• MBA or similar advanced degree preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of proven experience in supply chain management

• Lean Certification
