Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team in Liverpool. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire supply chain process from procurement to distribution, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain principles and will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate supplier performance and establish corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and present reports on supply chain metrics to stakeholders.
• Utilize supply chain management software to track and manage inventory.
• Work with the planning team to develop accurate forecasts and maintain inventory.
• Assist in training new team members on supply chain processes and systems.
• Actively participate in supply chain planning meetings.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management

Technical Skills

• Project Management Tools
• Inventory Management Systems

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with vendor negotiations: Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure favourable terms.
