Job Description

As a Logistics Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team, and ensure efficient workflow in our Birmingham facility. Your role will involve coordinating logistics activities, fostering an excellent team environment, and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the logistics team to ensure optimal productivity and a positive work environment.
• Evaluate logistics processes regularly and suggest improvements.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipments and deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock reordering processes.
• Act as the main point of contact for logistics-related queries.
• Prepare reports on logistics activities and present findings to senior management.
• Foster a culture of safety and accountability among the team.
• Utilize technology to streamline logistics operations.
• Assist in forecasting logistics needs based on sales projections.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree or equivalent experience is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of hands-on experience in logistics operations
