Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Production, Planning, and Expediting Clerk to oversee and coordinate the recruitment process for our labor force. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding laborers to ensure optimal staffing levels in various departments. The Labor Expediter will play a critical role in managing labor resources efficiently and maintaining high productivity levels.

Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment efforts for skilled labour across various projects.
  • Evaluate and screen candidates for suitability.
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-ups with candidates.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with department managers to understand staffing needs.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain robust records of recruitment and staffing metrics.
  • Monitor labour allocation to ensure productivity and efficiency.
  • Assist with employee relations by providing guidance and support.
  • Keep informed about employment trends and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Propose improvements to enhance recruitment and staffing processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar recruitment role
