Job Description

We are seeking skilled Furnace, Kiln, Oven, Drier, and Kettle Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Birmingham. The ideal candidates will manage and operate industrial machines, ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Run and maintain production schedules for kilns and ovens.
• Ensure all products are manufactured according to specified time, temperature, and humidity levels.
• Record daily production levels and identify any inconsistencies.
• Assist management in developing best practices for equipment operation.
• Monitor the loading and unloading of materials to and from machines.
• Work with the quality assurance team to resolve any production discrepancies.
• Provide feedback on production processes to promote continuous improvement.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Relevant trade qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in operating furnaces or similar machinery.

Technical Skills

• Safety protocols
• Computer literacy

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
