Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Engineer to join our team in Brighton. The successful candidate will focus on developing and implementing projects aimed at enhancing environmental sustainability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects in the fields of waste management, water resources, and ecological restoration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage environmental projects from inception to completion.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions on sustainability.
  • Assess the effectiveness of implemented environmental strategies.
  • Develop outreach programmes for community involvement in sustainability efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on large projects.
  • Utilise environmental management software to track project progress.
  • Implement monitoring plans to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
  • Engage with external consultants for specialized assessments.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or related field
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental project management
