Job Description

We are on the hunt for a Cyber Risk Specialist based in Sunderland to join our dedicated IT Support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, managing, and mitigating cyber risks associated with our systems and networks. This role demands a keen analytical mind, a proactive approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with third-party vendors to assess their security paradigms.
• Advise on data protection laws and compliance requirements.
• Organize and participate in cybersecurity drills and simulations.
• Continuously review and improve the organization’s incident response plan.
• Document and maintain security-related documentation and logs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant certifications (CISM, CISSP, CEH) are highly desirable

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role
