We are seeking a talented Theatre Lighting Specialist to join our dynamic technical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in lighting design and operation for live performances.

Responsibilities

• Design, program and execute lighting cues for live performances.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding lighting setups.
• Conduct regular inspections of lighting equipment to ensure readiness.
• Collaborate with stage management on timing and cues.
• Maintain a detailed inventory of lighting equipment.
• Assist in budgeting for lighting requirements for productions.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant Theatre Arts Qualification

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant practical experience in a theatre environment.

Technical Skills

• Stage Lighting Equipment
• Computer-Aided Design Software

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Lighting Programming Software: Experience with lighting programming software like QLab or Lightwright.
