Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Underwriter to join our Brighton team. In this role, you will assess client risk and determine appropriate coverage levels, ensuring our clients receive the best possible service while safeguarding the company's interests.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of submitted insurance applications and supporting documents.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure competitive offerings.
• Regularly reassess policies to maintain appropriate coverage levels.
• Provide exceptional service to clients by addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance underwriting skills and knowledge.
• Document all underwriting decisions and rationales.
• Support cross-functional projects to improve overall business processes.
• Develop relationships with clients to foster trust and facilitate renewals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related discipline
• Professional certification such as CII is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry, particularly in underwriting
