Job Description

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving production processes, enhancing efficiency, and reducing costs. You will utilise engineering principles and methods to streamline operations and improve product quality.

Responsibilities

• Implement engineering solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct feasibility studies on potential process changes.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Monitor project progress and resolve issues as they arise.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
• Develop budgets and track expenses for engineering projects.
• Research new engineering technologies relevant to the manufacturing sector.
• Prepare technical reports for management.
• Act as a liaison between production and engineering teams.
• Support the development of new products from an engineering perspective.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
