Job Description

Join our well-established civil engineering firm as a Civil Engineer in Sheffield. We seek an individual with hands-on experience in structural design, project coordination, and site management. You will play a pivotal role in delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest levels of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, and buildings.
• Prepare detailed project reports and designs using relevant software.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers on design modifications.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and interns.
• Monitor and report on project progress to senior management.
• Participate in environmental assessments and contribute to sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management

• AutoCAD
• Structural Analysis Software
