Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, providing comprehensive patient care and developing treatment plans. We aim to promote health and well-being in our community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive healthcare services to individuals of all ages.
  • Consult with patients to understand their needs and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities.
  • Conduct health screenings and vaccinations.
  • Educate patients and families regarding health conditions.
  • Stay updated on medical advancements and best practices.
  • Contribute to team meetings and case discussions.
  • Document patients' medical records accurately and timely.
  • Be part of after-hours care service rota as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical degree (MBChB or equivalent)
  • Postgraduate training in General Practice is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical practice

Certifications
  • Certification in General Practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Leadership experience: Previous experience leading a healthcare team is a plus.
  • Language skills in Welsh or another regional dialect: Ability to communicate in Welsh or any other regional dialect will be advantageous.
