Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Yarn Conditioner to join our manufacturing team in Manchester. The Yarn Conditioner will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and preparing yarn for further processing. An ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and a solid understanding of yarn production processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of yarn batches.
• Implement cleaning methods to prepare yarn for use.
• Operate and maintain conditioning equipment accurately.
• Document production output and any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain standards.
• Assist with process optimisation for better efficiency.
• Engage in problem-solving activities related to yarn defects.

Requirements

Education

• Additional certifications in textile manufacturing are a plus

Experience

• Experience in quality control processes is advantageous

• Yarn conditioning machinery
