Job Description

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom activities, helping to create an engaging learning environment for students. You will assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and provide one-on-one support to students as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support the integration of technology into the classroom.
  • Implement behavioural management strategies as directed by teachers.
  • Assess and monitor individual learning needs and adjust support accordingly.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community outreach.
  • Assist in evaluating and enhancing teaching strategies.
  • Foster positive relationships with students to support their emotional wellbeing.
  • Encourage a love for learning and promote a growth mindset among students.
  • Organise educational outings and sessions that enrich the curriculum.
  • Utilise interactive and engaging teaching methods to captivate students.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Teaching qualification is an advantage
Experience
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred
