Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Masontender to join our construction team. The Masontender will be responsible for assisting in the construction and repair of various masonry structures, ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Support masons in all aspects of their work, including setup and material handling.
• Ensure work areas are clean and organized.
• Assist with measuring, cutting, and shaping materials.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in masonry construction or a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Masonry Techniques
• Tool Operation

Soft Skills

• Physical Stamina
• Teamwork

Certifications

• CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Advanced Knowledge of Masonry Techniques: Experience with advanced masonry techniques such as arches or vaults.
• Different Materials Experience: Experience working with different types of masonry materials like concrete blocks, bricks, and stones.
