We are searching for a Cloud Infrastructure Manager to spearhead our cloud initiatives in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in architecting cloud solutions, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing best practices to optimize cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable and secure.
• Drive cloud strategy discussions and decisions across the organization.
• Manage cloud budgets and forecasting to optimise expenditures.
• Oversee the implementation of cloud solutions and practices across teams.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to cloud team members to enhance skills and performance.
• Conduct periodic reviews of cloud services and solutions to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Advanced degree is a plus

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in IT with a focus on cloud solutions

Technical Skills

• Google Cloud Platform
• Containerization

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
