Job Description

As a Construction Manager based in Edinburgh, you will lead our construction efforts by managing daily operations, ensuring project timelines are met, and facilitating communication between clients and contractors. You will play a crucial role in driving project success and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all construction activities on site.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the quality control of materials and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to the Project Director.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to plans.
  • Mentor and manage junior team members and subcontractors.
  • Implement innovative construction methods and technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • Chartered status (e.g., RICS) is an advantage
Experience
