Job Description

As the Urban Development Manager in Bath, you will lead strategic urban planning initiatives aimed at enhancing community engagement, sustainability, and environmental stewardship. You will be tasked with coordinating development projects and liaising with local stakeholders to ensure alignment with community needs and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead urban planning projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Engage with community members to gather feedback on proposed developments.
• Manage relationships with external consultants and contractors involved in planning initiatives.
• Evaluate the environmental impacts of projects and propose solutions to mitigate adverse effects.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory frameworks governing urban development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in urban planning or related discipline
