Choke Setter

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Choke Setter to join our drilling team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating choke machines to ensure high-quality production while adhering to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set, adjust, and monitor the choke system that controls the flow of oil and gas.
• Work alongside the Drilling Supervisor and Drilling Engineer to coordinate tasks.
• Report any issues or anomalies during operations promptly.
• Assist in training new Choke Setters and operational staff.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in mechanical engineering or related field is advantageous.

Experience

• Experience with CNC machines is a plus.

Certifications

• CNC Machine Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
