Job Description

We are in search of an Environmental Scientist with a strong background in ecological research and environmental policy to join our dedicated team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will play a key role in our projects aimed at promoting sustainability and addressing environmental challenges. You will be involved in data collection, analysis, and the development of strategies to mitigate the impact of human activities on the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise GIS tools to map environmental data and identify areas of concern.
  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop innovative solutions to environmental issues.
  • Identify funding opportunities and assist in grant writing for environmental projects.
  • Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders and management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field
  • Master's degree or relevant certification is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or research environments

Advantageous
