We are seeking a dedicated Research Biologist to join our Edinburgh laboratory. This role involves conducting experiments, analysing data, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to push the boundaries of biological research.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced techniques in molecular biology and microbiology.
• Utilize bioinformatics tools for data analysis.
• Contribute to grant writing and funding proposals.
• Monitor and report on laboratory budgets and resource allocations.
• Participate in laboratory meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
• Ensure all experiments adhere to ethical and legal standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field
• PhD in a scientific discipline is desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in laboratory settings
