Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Ecology Field Specialist to join our team in Basingstoke. This role involves conducting field surveys, collecting data, and collaborating on ecological assessments to support vital conservation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and a passion for ecology.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various ecological assessments and field studies.
  • Work with GIS tools to map and analyse ecological data.
  • Support environmental education initiatives and community projects.
  • Document fieldwork accurately and archive data appropriately.
  • Contribute to grant proposals for ecological research funding.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications are desirable
