Job Description

The Purification Scientist will play a pivotal role in designing and executing purification strategies for biologics. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to align on project objectives while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate methods for downstream purification of protein therapeutics.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to meet regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical support for purification equipment and processes.
  • Contribute to reports and presentations for project milestones.
  • Maintain a clean and compliant laboratory environment.
  • Participate in training and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in downstream purification of biologics and GMP
Technical Skills
  • Process Analytical Technology (PAT)
  • Single-use technologies
Soft Skills
  • Communication skills
  • Attention to detail
Certifications
  • GMP Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Industry experience: Experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry is a plus.
