Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Building Safety Coordinator to oversee compliance and safety protocols in our architectural projects. You will work closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure that all building safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UK building regulations and excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyse building plans to ensure safety compliance.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential safety hazards.
  • Prepare and present safety assessments and recommendations to management.
  • Act as a safety advisor to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate records of all safety-related documentation.
  • Liaise with contractors to enforce compliance with safety standards.
  • Utilise safety management software to track compliance and incident reports.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Building Safety, Architecture, or related field
  • Relevant professional safety certifications highly regarded
Experience
  • 5+ years in a safety compliance role within the construction industry
