Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Civil Engineer to work on exciting projects that improve the infrastructure of Glasgow. You will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining various civil engineering projects while ensuring adherence to the latest regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate detailed engineering designs for infrastructure projects.
  • Supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
  • Perform risk assessments and respond to technical queries.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments where applicable.
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions for problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Evaluate contractor and supplier submissions for compliance.
  • Assist in developing project schedules and delivery plans.
  • Review and approve technical drawings and calculations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering projects
