Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our Brighton office. In this role, you'll design and analyse structures, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. You will collaborate with architects and other engineers while managing various projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate should have a solid grasp of structural design principles and a passion for innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Create and review detailed design specifications for a variety of projects.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to facilitate project success.
  • Troubleshoot issues during the design and construction phase, proposing effective solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and interns, providing guidance and training.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
  • Master's degree is an asset
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience with a focus on design and analysis.
