Job Description

As the City Treasurer, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the city, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial advice to the city council. Your role is integral to maintaining the city's financial health and supporting its economic goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct the financial administration of the city, ensuring optimal use of resources.
• Create comprehensive budget plans and financial forecasts.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage with various departments to ensure financial compliance and reporting.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration (desired)
• Professional certification in financial management (e.g., CIMA, ACCA)
