Job Description

As a Rigging Slinger, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement and positioning of heavy equipment, machinery, and components at construction sites and industrial locations. This role demands physical strength, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the loading and unloading of heavy materials using appropriate rigging equipment.
• Cooperate with the team to ensure seamless logistics and operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of all rigging tools and equipment for safety compliance.
• Assist in the development of site safety plans and procedures.
• Participate in safety training and toolbox talks.
• Help foster a proactive safety culture on site.
• Document equipment usage and maintenance records.
• Provide assistance to the rigging supervisor in executing project plans.
• Collaborate with other trades to meet project timelines.
• Contribute to team meetings by providing insights on operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Additional certifications in heavy machinery operation preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in rigging and load handling.

Technical Skills

• Crane Operation
• Load Calculation

Certifications

• Advanced Rigging Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
