Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Veterinary Services Specialist to join our team in Corby. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, providing exceptional care for various animal species and ensuring their health and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Examine animals to assess their health and medical needs.
  • Provide preventative care, including vaccinations and health checks.
  • Assist in diagnosing diseases and recommending treatment options.
  • Engage with pet owners, providing advice on nutrition and pet care.
  • Support surgical procedures and manage anesthesia during operations.
  • Document patient visits and treatments in the veterinary management system.
  • Train and supervise junior staff and volunteers when needed.
  • Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay updated on veterinary advances.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
  • Completed postgraduate training in a specialised field is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical experience with a focus on companion animals
