Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and calibration of a wide range of medical equipment. The role requires strong technical skills and attention to detail to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of biomedical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of medical devices.
• Work closely with healthcare professionals to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Ensure that all biomedical equipment is compliant with regulations.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
• Assist in the training of healthcare staff on the operation of new equipment.
• Evaluate and recommend new biomedical equipment purchases.
• Support the implementation of a preventative maintenance schedule.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent field

Experience

• 2-3 years in a healthcare environment preferred.

• ISO 13485 Certification

Languages
