Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our Birmingham team. The right candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining mechanical systems and ensuring that production runs smoothly. A strong technical background and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and upgrades to mechanical systems as needed.
• Liaise with suppliers for parts and equipment procurement.
• Document all maintenance activities in compliance with corporate policies.
• Train junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.

Requirements

Education

• Higher National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant mechanical experience

• Preventive Maintenance

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CNC machinery: Hands-on experience with CNC machinery beneficial for precision parts manufacturing.
