Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Engineer to join our vibrant team in Aberdeen. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of software testing methodologies, a passion for delivering quality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires an analytical mindset to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute test cases based on software requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Engage in continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.
  • Analyze test results and provide reports on quality metrics.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to testability improvements.
  • Review and maintain existing test documentation.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Engage in peer reviews of other QA engineers' test cases.
  • Contribute to the overall QA strategy and roadmap.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining testing environments.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance
