Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Dampener Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining dampening machinery, ensuring that production runs smoothly and meets our quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust dampening machinery to optimise functionality.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance to avoid any downtime.
• Document and report any malfunctions or repairs needed immediately.
• Assist in training new operators on machinery operation and best practices.
• Work in tandem with the quality assurance team to maintain product standards.
• Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance production efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional training in machine operation preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• Troubleshooting skills

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with other machinery in printing processes: Familiarity with various machinery used in the printing industry.
