Dance Instructor

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching various dance styles to individuals or groups, maintaining a positive and inspiring learning environment, and assisting in choreographing routines for performances and competitions.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging dance classes and workshops tailored to various ages and skill levels.
• Instruct and demonstrate dance techniques, movements, and routines.
• Provide individualized feedback to enhance students' skills and confidence.
• Create choreography for performances, recitals, and competitions.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
• Organize and manage rehearsals and ensure readiness for performances.
• Foster creativity and personal expression among students.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling and student assessments.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the dance program.
• Promote dance events and encourage student participation.

Requirements

Education

• Higher National Diploma in Dance or equivalent
• Additional qualifications in related fields (e.g., fitness training, yoga, Pilates) are advantageous.

Experience

• Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred.

• Knowledge of music editing software.: Experience using tools for preparing music for classes.
