Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee our logistics operations in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, optimising processes, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency and supporting the growth of our business.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate warehouse operations for efficient functionality.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff performance.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management through regular audits.
  • Enhance warehouse layouts for increased productivity.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to streamline operations.
  • Manage logistics costs and oversee shipment schedules.
  • Implement and oversee warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Lead efforts to maximise efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Analyze data to make informed decisions about inventory management.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of warehouse management experience
