As a Jewel Grinder, you will play a crucial role in our jewelry manufacturing process. You will be responsible for operating grinding and polishing machines to create beautiful jewelry pieces using precious gemstones. Attention to detail is key as you ensure that each piece meets our high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand tools and machinery to grind and polish gemstones.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the polishing process.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and improvements.
• Assist in training new staff on machine operation and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Use calipers and measuring instruments for accuracy.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow and product quality.

Requirements

Education

• Previous experience in jewelry manufacturing or gemstone processing is advantageous.

Experience

• Experience with automated grinding and polishing systems is a plus.
