Job Description

As a Computer-Aided Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings using advanced CAD software. Collaborating closely with engineers, architects, and project managers, you'll contribute to the design and development of various projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and modify detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
  • Work closely with the design team to create innovative solutions for complex projects.
  • Maintain documentation relating to design processes and client communications.
  • Evaluate designs for cost-efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in project planning sessions to align team goals.
  • Assist in training junior team members on CAD software usage.
  • Conduct site visits as necessary to verify design feasibility.
  • Support project managers in timelines and deliverables management.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field
  • Certification in CAD software programs
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in drafting, preferably in architecture, construction, or engineering.
