Job Description
The Well Field Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing well field equipment while monitoring well performance. This position requires a blend of technical skills and an understanding of safety regulations to ensure optimal operation.
Responsibilities
Operating and maintaining well field equipment.
Conducting routine maintenance and repairs.
Communicating with the field operations team to coordinate daily activities.
Collecting and analyzing data to optimise well field performance.
Working independently and as part of a team.
Undertaking water quality testing and reporting.
Documenting equipment status and performance metrics.
Performing safety audits and compliance checks.
Adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
Engaging in continuous professional development.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Higher education in Environmental Science or related field is beneficial.
Experience
Experience with water treatment or environmental regulations is beneficial.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of hydraulic fracturing processes
