Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care Nurse to provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients. You will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care is delivered.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition.
• Educating patients and families on care processes and treatment options.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and adhering to best practices.
• Ensuring adherence to infection control and health and safety policies.

Requirements

Education

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification

Experience

• Experience working with mechanical ventilation and advanced monitoring systems.

Technical Skills

• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Soft Skills

• Empathy and compassion
• Flexibility and adaptability

Certifications

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with mechanical ventilation: Hands-on experience in managing patients on mechanical ventilation.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment.: Familiarity with intra-aortic balloon pumps and other advanced monitoring devices.
