Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our practice in Swansea. Ideal candidates will have a passion for dental care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team to deliver top-notch patient care. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dental team in ensuring a smooth clinic workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scaling and root planing treatments.
  • Educate patients on post-care for dental procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure the clinic remains stocked with supplies.
  • Engage with patients to address their concerns and queries.
  • Collaborate on team projects to enhance clinic operations.
  • Assist in community outreach programs to promote dental health.

Requirements

Education
  • Dental Hygiene Degree preferred
  • Certification in local anaesthesia is a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in dental hygiene
Technical Skills
  • Experience in periodontal therapy
  • Fluency with dental software
Soft Skills
  • Empathy and patient-centered care
  • Time management skills
Certifications
  • Local Anaesthesia Certification
  • CPR Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous
