Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Glasgow. In this role, you will manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed account reconciliations and adjustments.
• Contribute to process improvements within the finance department.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior accounting staff.
• Develop and maintain financial models and reports.
• Support the Finance Manager in strategic financial planning.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in accounting with experience in management roles preferred

• Budgeting

Certifications

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA Certification desired

Languages

• English: Fluent
