Job Description

As an ESL Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English as a second language to non-native speakers of varying ages and proficiency levels. Your role will involve developing lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and assessing their progress to help them improve their language fluency.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate curriculum effectiveness and modify lesson plans accordingly.
• Utilise technology tools for hybrid teaching environments.
• Guide students in understanding and practicing grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• Organise extracurricular activities to promote language use outside the classroom.
• Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere where students feel comfortable to express themselves.

Requirements

Education

• BA/BS in Education or related field preferred
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification required

Experience

• 1-2 years of relevant teaching experience
